Respawn Entertainment Announces A $3 Million Dollar Pro League For Apex Legends

    2020 is going to be the year that legends are born.

    Respawn Entertainment has announced through the EA site that an Apex Legends pro league will kick off in 2020 with $3 million dollars in prize money to be won. Called the Apex Legends Global Series, the circuit will feature 12 live events and 10 online tournaments, with potentially more events to be announced down the road. 

    The series will feature “Challenger Events” where up and coming talent will have a chance to compete for a shot at making a name for themselves at a future tournament, as well “Premier Events” where proven teams can battle for points that will help them earn a spot at one of the four major tournaments that will be held, where the cream of the crop will fight for cash prizes.

    The first online event for the series will take place on January 25th, 2020, and the first offline event will be on March 13th, 2020. To register, head over to the site and get ready for competition!
