On top of this, Buzby is an avid Twitch streamer with over 27,000 followers. He is known for providing wonderful analysis of tournament matches and quality coaching for subscribers to his channel. His Twitch presence combined with his consistency as a top player — it’s rare to see Dabuz not appear in a Top 8 of a major tournament — he is easily a prime pick for large esports organizations.
So, while it’s evident he won’t be a free agent for long, the question is: who will snag Dabuz up? With TempoStorm signing ZeRo to a historic contract and Team SoloMid grabbing Tweek, it’s clear that a reputable team is within Buzby’s grasp. And perhaps there is one that’s already on his mind?
It would be interesting to see Dabuz on Evil Geniuses, and if they don’t act quick, it’ll likely be a huge loss on their end. With Super Smash Bros. Ultimate shaping up to be a massive esports draw, it would be wise for EG (or any top tier organization) to act fast and get this guaranteed tournament threat on their roster.
