Peach’s Castle From Super Mario 64 In Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2

One of the best silver linings in this hellhole of a year we call 2020 has been the release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, a remaster of the first two games in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series.

Released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in early September, the game sold a million copies in two weeks, and generated considerable buzz.

Aside from the overall polish for both games in THPS 1+2, the Create a Park system has been updated to allow for more customization than ever before. Specifically, the Smart Pieces can be molded in so many ways that the design and intricacies of parks are as diverse as can be.

And no one has put this to a more creative and better use than Skramble (Skramblez on YouTube.) He has made several custom parks that draw inspiration from classic Nintendo games and more.

One of his more popular videos is the remake of Peach’s Castle in Super Mario 64. The video, which features a guitar cover of the castle theme in Super Mario 64, showcases how the outside areas of Peach’s Castle have been transformed to accommodate the gameplay in THPS 1+2

You can even skate around in the main lobby of the area, although not every room and floor of the castle is open.

The varying heights of the castle and surrounding areas, along with the revamped moat and courtyard areas mean that there are plenty of different sections that all make the most of the gameplay. Check out Skramble’s video below:

You’ll want to subscribe to Skramblez on YouTube, since he’s also uploaded a remake of the Hyrule Temple stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee, and his most recent upload is a remake of Hogwarts from Harry Potter. Be sure to stay tuned for what other custom maps he dishes out next!
