Street Fighter 6 has quickly established itself as one of the greatest fighting games in recent memory, and a huge step up from its predecessor. The refined gameplay and sheer amount of content makes it very appealing for hardcore and casual players alike.
Perhaps one of the best new features is the custom avatar, where players create their own fighter to compete against others in the Battle Hub, and use in the single-player mode World Tour.
Some people have gone above and beyond with their avatar creation, making some of the best (or at least “most unique”) characters with the tools available. Thanks to r/SF6Avatars, we have been able to compile a list of some of the outstanding avatars yet created!
The Best SF6 Custom Avatars
1. The Incredible Hulk
If Blanka isn’t hitting the spot for your green skinned warrior, this custom Hulk will have to do. They got the face down perfectly, and the character’s size is sure to give Zangief a run for his money.
2. Kronk from The Emperor’s New Groove
The code? Oh riiight, the code, the code for Kronk, the code specifically made to create Kronk, Kronk’s code.
…that code?
You can find the details here, allowing you to download and play as one of the greatest Disney side characters ever created. The outfit, face and body type are absolutely perfect. The only question is: what moveset would best fit Kronk?
3. Kratos (God of War 3)
Specifically based on his God of War 3 appearance, this Kratos model is seriously well done, with so much attention to detail from his face to the accessories he wears. I’m not sure if there’s any Street Fighter character who’s moves could match the power and ferocity requires for Kratos, though…
4. Spiderman
It’s amazing how a face mask, some blue jeans and a few character creation tools can create such a convincing Spiderman, and this one here is proof. Using appropriately acrobatic moves like Chun-Li’s Spinning Bird Kick for the photo only adds to the authenticity. This is no doubt the best Spiderman avatar you’ll find in Street Fighter 6.
5. Johnny Bravo
Man, he’s pretty.
The classic cartoon character Johnny Bravo is brought to life in fantastic fashion with this avatar. It is true to character as well, with a massive upper body and basically no legs to speak of. Hopefully with the right moveset applied, he will actually put up a fight, too!
6. “Macho Man” Randy Savage
If you’re gonna have an over-the-top fighting game, then you better bring in the legend himself, Randy Savage.
This avatar nails absolutely everything about “Macho Man” Randy Savage, and it really makes you think how he would fit perfectly in the Street Fighter universe.
All I need now is for the next avatar to be “Bonesaw McGraw.”
7. Jeffrey “The Dude” Lebowski
That’s just like, your opinion, man.
And my opinion is that this creation of The Dude is way too good. I didn’t think there were so many options on the character creation screen, as well as a variety of clothing to create something so accurate.
I am ready for the cinephile arc of the fighting game community.
8. Popeye the Sailor
This mugshot should tell you everything, but you’ll be happy to know that Popeye the Sailor has those trademark massive forearms. Would that add to his punching power?
You better hope items are banned because if this guy gets his hands on some spinach, it is curtains for your fighting game career.
9. Waluigi
He couldn’t make it into Super Smash Bros., but at least he found a home in Street Fighter 6…kinda.
This Waluigi has been done right, with the face and moustache instantly being recognizable and his body being characteristically scrawny. It will be difficult to find a fighting style that matches Waluigi, however, as scientists to this day still can’t figure out exactly why Waluigi moves the way that he does.
10. Danny DeVito
Complete with the fake hair, Frank Reynolds i.e., Danny DeVito is finally ready to fight. What he lacks in size and range, he will make up for in sheer power of will.
If the hair isn’t doing it for you, you can always make the version where he wants to be pure…
What’s important is Danny DeVito is finally available in Street Fighter, as we always wanted.
