“Living is no different from being dead if you’re all alone”

A powerful line from the newest Death Stranding trailer that, alone, could maybe give you an idea of what the game is about. Alas, it’s just a few seconds of an almost eight-minute trailer, and the full video has left viewers with more questions about this enigmatic title, and even more excitement.

Death Stranding will be Hideo Kojima’s first major project since he left Konami after the release of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. A highly anticipated game to close out the year, the amount of information about the plot or what the game even is, is minimal. This is true Kojima fashion, who can create intrigue with the right amount of cryptic dialogue and appealing cutscenes.

Death Stranding is sure to be an interesting experience for fans of Kojima, and with an impressive cast consisting of Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux and more. And if you don’t happen to have a PlayStation 4, worry not; it was recently announced that a PC port of Death Stranding would be released in the summer of 2020.
