Some Great Games Just Went On Sale For The Nintendo Switch

It’s time to start looking ahead for when summer comes to a sad end, and Nintendo has got us covered: until August 20, 2023 players can save big on some heavy-hitter multiplayer games on the Nintendo Switch thanks to their special “Multiplayer Sale” as of today.

The sale will feature up to 30% off on some flagship Nintendo franchises, and upwards to 60-70% on select titles, all through the Nintendo eShop. Some first-party Nintendo games are available for a rare discount, including Mario Party Superstars and Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, as well as Mario sports titles and some Kirby games; I am personally a huge advocate for Mario Strikers: Battle League, a chaotic soccer game featuring all the usual Mario characters.

Monster Hunter Rise, Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition and Overcooked Special Edition are another handful of must-play games that are available for cheaper than usual. Players looking for something casual and simple want to take a look at Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide classics, which features a variety of board and tabletop games, as well as Switch-specific minigames. The Jackbox Party Pack 9 would also be a perfect pickup for an easy fun game that can involve a lot of players.
